FC5 seems to have rescued my hard disc. I finally got around to trying to install Xubuntu again. Man! It was a long and convoluted process. I just have so much data, it became very awkward. I had a progress X-ray yesterday, it's been three weeks since this scenario started and it seems I'm going backward. I've almost downloaded my Dapper ISO's. Turns out that the new Desktop CD, nee LiveCD, can run Ubuntu as a Live session in your RAM, then install from an icon on the desktop. That's pretty rad. I watched this last night, with Cathy and her work, which booked the entire cinema. We got lots of popcorn, icecream and drinks all for $5. Her work has a real nice social club thats for sure.
